Recorded in 2019 in the studio trailer, this album exists because one day an Alto Music employee suggested I make a bluegrass album dedicated to bees. I’m not sure how that escalated so quickly, but here we are. While most of the songs buzz with bluegrass flavor, a few drift into folk, jazz, and rock. According to my wife, the hit on the record is “North Bound,” a song I wrote about my sister’s struggle with addiction—and I trust her instincts more than my streaming stats.
